The Yukon Arts Centre needed a modern, intuitive website that could better reflect its vibrant identity and commitment to Northern and Indigenous art. The new site simplifies access to exhibitions, events, and the Centre’s permanent collection—creating a welcoming digital experience for all visitors.

As creative director the lead designer, I crafted a clean, content-forward interface that balances bold visuals with usability. Inspired by the Yukon landscape and cultural heritage, the design uses a warm, grounded colour palette and clear navigation to highlight the art while guiding users through the site. Key features include a faceted “What’s On” calendar, flexible exhibition and event templates, and a mosaic-style archive showcasing over 100 works by Indigenous and Northern artists.

The result is a site that’s both striking and functional—one that celebrates creativity in the North and supports YAC’s mission of accessibility, inclusivity, and cultural connection.
