Live Net Zero is a national initiative from Canadian Geographic and Lightspark that empowers Canadian households to reduce their carbon footprint through a series of themed challenges. Families compete for a $50,000 grand prize while inspiring others to take climate action at home.
As Creative Director and Lead Designer, I developed the visual identity and directed the design of the website and campaign collateral. The bold, optimistic brand centres around a stylized “zero” icon—representing the earth and our cyclical relationship with it—and is supported by a vibrant, fresh palette and dynamic gradient treatments.
The campaign launched with a microsite hosted by Canadian Geographic, acting as both a content hub for the participating families and a resource for all Canadians. A multi-channel awareness push included digital and print ads, social content, and partner amplification. We also adapted campaign assets for Scotiabank’s internal employee challenge, including graphics, primers, and custom video content.
